Knowing yourself is the foundation of wisdom.
This week has been truly illuminating for me. There are so many different facets to the illumination I would have to write a book to fully share. But the bottom line is that I still don’t fully know myself.
I have focused on the internal work:
- Acceptance
- Forgiveness
- Healing
- Transformation
- Introspection
- Rewilding
- Soul searching
What I haven’t worked on is the more external work:
- Building relationships
- Connecting in person with others
- Facilitating retreats, workshops, and sessions
- Developing my local community
- Connecting on a deeper level with my global community
The photos I took for Day 11 of the 21 Day GetNaked Challenge illustrate this journey. On the one hand, you are looking in. However, at the same time, I am looking out at you. The next step is to remove the silence. Remove the space between us and truly dive in to knowing each other.
That’s what this challenge is about for me. GetNaked With Joy began as a solo journey but now others are joining me. It makes my heart sing to witness the journey of others. So I want to send a shout out to the challenge participants! You inspire me and you truly touch my heart.
From my soul to yours,
Joy

Day 11:
It looks so wonderfully natural I’m glad to see other people like me Wish there were people around me like that
Love the hair pulled back…though I usually prefer longer hair, it makes you appear younger and seems a bit more modern hairstyle. Additionally, while I often prefer color photography, the monochromatic pictures are nicely done. Hope things are going well for you.
Where do you live it look nice

Very special photos, I am in total administration for what you are doing. Thank you. Oh by the way you are a real woman.
Paul, perhaps you meant “admiration” rather than “administration”?
Very well spotted, I can only say that I have found my reading glasses now. Thank you for pointing that out 👍
