On the Topic of Body Love

Hey beautiful people,

I know it’s been a minute. I’ve had some life challenges that needed my full focus. During my little hiatus I’ve been thinking a lot about the body positive movement, Boyd image challenges, etc. It’s such a complex topic and the struggle is entirely unique to the individual.

As a mom to four young adult children, and a grandmother to the sweetest two year old little girl, my body has been through a lot. When I was a teenage girl, I suffered from Boyd dysmorphia, bulimia and anorexia. Although I have mostly dominated my eating disorders and the related issues, I have to continually check in with myself to make sure I am honoring, loving and nourishing my body.

As many of you know, I’ve been posting nude photos online since New Year’s Day 2018. Hindsight is 20/20 they say…If I knew then what I know now about being a nude blogger, I’m not sure I would have embarked on this journey. But now that I am here, all I can do is hope that my path inspires you.

If you struggle with body dysmorphia, anorexia, bulimia, or body image issues, I am here. I hear you. I feel you. I will continue to do my best to inspire you to love the skin you’re in. I know it’s not always easy, but…

“Often times the hardest things in life, are the things most worth doing. Just because we haven’t figured them out yet, doesn’t mean we won’t.”
